A story about a past client and how he finally finished something he was
dragging his heels on:
He's a coach who was procrastinating for weeks on launching something, with no forward momentum being made on it.
We decided that if he didn't get it done by our next coaching call the following week, he had to do something that would hurt him (a lot) ...
He'd have to donate to a cause he was 100% opposed to, in this case the KKK.
If he didn't hit his deadline, he'd have to open up his wallet, take out his hard earned money, and make a donation to them.
Spoiler alert: he hit his goal.
I got this strategy from a past guest on my podcast, who suggested that you push yourself by giving a deadline for your task - and if you don't do it, you donate to a cause, organization, or political candidate that you loathe.
I've used it successfully with other clients, and it's worked like a charm every time.
Anyways, I'm currently offering a special Marc's June birthday offer for Secret Coach Club - 50% the usual annal subscription.
The June issue is a "Best of" Secret Coach Club that's double the size of most issues, and you can take advantage by the deadline of Sunday, June 12th:
