When he was on my podcast this week, Gabe Arnold gave his opinion about "nurturing", which differs from what most of the experts are teaching online nowadays:
“What we’ve all been taught is that you have to nurture your audience, be soft, get to know them, tell your story and go through all
those things in order to then make an ask, and it’s actually flipped in reverse now.”
So instead of sending 7, 30, or 50 days of emails that never ask for a sale but are only to warm up the audience, Gabe recommends cutting all of that out and telling people how you can help them - then invite them to take the next step.
I agree 100%, and have been operating this way for years (and have had many debates with the "nurtering" advocates on this issue).
I'm not saying that you don't provide any value in your content, but to not hold back when it comes to asking for their
business.
If you'd like to be more bold in this area, join Gabe and I next Thursday for a free training where he'll show how to consistently attract your perfect coaching clients using his B.E.S.T marketing system.
