One of my clients, a newer coach (in business for just a few months) asked me a question on our last call:
"How long should my coaching sessions be?"
My
reply:
Clients pay for results, not for time!
If given the choice, most would rather have a 15-minute call that gets the results they want instead of a one-hour call just for the sake of getting more
time.
When you're selling your packages, focus less on the time that you'll be spending with the client and more on the results that the client will get (the same goes for digital programs - don't stuff them full of a bunch of unnecessary stuff just to justify the price!).
I use the same approach when it comes to my Secret Coach Club hard copy newsletter ...
Most monthly issues are 16 or 20 pages, and I could easily double that size but I want my subscribers to take what they learn and put it into action.
If I cram too much stuff in there, there's a good chance they'd get overwhelmed and be stuck in analysis paralysis.
And I don't want that.
The February
issue is a 20 pager which incudes things like a breakdown of the most important resources and service providers for my business, a discussion on how to use controversy to get more clients, how to get everything you want (this should be common sense, but few do it), and 10 movies (plus a few bonus ones) that I recommend you watch to get your entrepreneurial fires raging ...
