I once read a quote that stuck with me:

A few years back I got to see this in action.
I was speaking at a
conference in Toronto, and there was a young guy there who really impressed me.
Throughout the day, he took notes during all of the talks.
At breaks, he approached the speakers and asked us questions.
I usually don't indulge in much
brain-picking, but he paid for a ticket and I was happy to share my advice.
Even at the VIP lunch, he sat close to the speakers and continued asking us questions and learning.
After the event ended and most attendees went home after a long day, he stuck around and had more conversations with people.The guy was a learning
machine!
His ticket was only about $100, but he got thousands of dollars worth of advice that day.
Contrast him with someone who subscribed to my Secret Coach Club newsletter once for a short while.
After about three or four months, he
emailed me to cancel his subscription because he "didn't have the time" to read any of them.
Despite paying money, he hadn't even opened them. The unopened issues sat on his bookshelf and collecting dust.
He said that he planned to dig into them when he got a chance and would re-subscribe after he did that ... I haven't heard
from him since, and I doubt he's even read one word.
What a waste ...
But anyways, I don't twist people's arms. I help the people who want to be helped - those like the attendee at the conference who squeezed as much juice out of that event's orange as possible.
Some people don't want it bad enough, and they end up hopping from BSO (Bright Shiny Object) to BSO.
