I heard a cool story about Taylor Conroy before ...
It was about 18 minutes that he spent back in 2011.

don’t know Taylor, he's a 4x TEDx speaker, an entrepreneur, and activist.
His company, ThoughtLeader, works specifically with purpose-driven coaches, entrepreneurs, and experts to help them land TEDx stages (at this point, they’ve successfully helped over 500+ clients get their own TEDx talk).
And you might have guessed that the most impactful thing he did for his business in 2011 was to give an 18 minute TEDx talk.
It was the first public speech of his life, and at the time Taylor was a real estate agent feeling unfulfilled in his day job and searching for something that lit him up
more than that and had a greater impact.
So he decided to present a TEDx talk on “How to Build A School In 3 Hours.”
And the ripple effect from that talk changed his life forever.
Within a short period of time, he was able to raise millions of dollars for charity.
He built hundreds of schools in developing countries and impacted the lives of thousands of children around the world.
Which ultimately led to the founding of ThoughtLeader ...
His presentation skills weren’t extraordinary (since it was the first public speech he’d ever given he was visibly nervous in the video).
Even the production quality of the video itself wasn't anything special.
But he did have the massive audience from the TEDx platform, and he got great results.
