I have a question that I ask on every call with a potential client.
I ask them:
"What's your magic number?"
Their "magic number" is the ideal monthly revenue that
they want to be earning from their coaching business.
There's no one right answer, but I look for a few things:
First, I won't work with anyone who could be defined as a "Get Rich Quick" coach.
That's one who wants to make
$100,000 or a million bucks in the next 30 days (while working five minutes a day from the comfort of their hot tub).
Second, I won't work with someone who has small goals.
Not to knock someone's goals, but if they want to make a few hundred bucks per month for "spending money", that doesn't excite
me.
A goal is a very personal thing, but those are the red flags that I look out for.
In a nutshell, I want to work with coaches who have big goals for their businesses.
That's exciting for me, since every one of those clients
has the potential to impact hundreds, thousands, hundreds of thousands (or even millions) of people.
It's like a ripple in the water, expanding out further and further.
