Recharging Your Batteries!

Published: Sun, 10/25/15

Hi ,

Are you taking enough time off to recharge?  I've been swamped with work this month as I've been preparing for the launch of the "Command Higher Coaching Fees" summit tomorrow (you can register for free here). The result has been some feeling of overwhelm and burn-out!

Yesterday I planned to spend the whole day hunkered down working, with my trusty Macbook on my lap and fuelled by some Red Bull (I'm not a coffee guy!).  But I decided to take the afternoon off and head to some dunes that are about 40 minutes from where I live, to get some fresh air with my son.

You know what?  Those few hours of beach-combing and enjoying the ocean breeze really recharged me.  I was able to take a breather for a few hours, and when I got back to things last night I felt like I was in a good rhythm and "flow".  I knocked out more in those few hours last night than I probably would have if working all day while stressed and frustrated.

We're programmed to think that we have to put our heads down and keep working to be more productive, when in reality we can get more done in a shorter period of time if we're on our "A-Game".  And to get into that state, we have to take some time to ourselves and have some fun.

If you're feeling the same way that I was, get out and take a breather.  It could be to the beach, a park, or even to the theatre to see a movie that you've been wanting to watch!

Here's a quick video that I shot at the dunes yesterday, the waves were pretty rough but I wanted to show you where I recharge ...

Have an awesome week,

Marc

PS: if you haven't already registered, I'd love to see you at the summit!  It's going to help a lot of coaches raise their fees to charge what they're worth.  You can save your spot here -> www.HigherCoachingFees.com
