Are you sick of hearing about this $1.5 Billion Powerball lottery yet?  It seems like everywhere I turn I'm hearing about it ... 

I get why people are excited. $1.5 Billion ... and you have a chance by just buying a ticket?  It's like "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory", except this golden ticket will get you more than a trip to see Willy Wonka! 

Here's how I think people should handle this whole Powerball thing:  

Take the money that you would have spent on lottery tickets, and buy a couple of great personal development books (the lineups are shorter at the bookstore, or even go online and get them).

The right books will change your life. Will they make you $1.5 Billion? Maybe not, but they'll get you going in the right direction to do very well. The odds are certainly better than 1 in 300 Million for the Powerball!
