Some Changes To the Podcast ...

Published: Fri, 04/01/16

I'll start by saying that this isn't an April Fool's Day joke (you've probably had ten of those already this morning!)

I wanted to send you an email about some changes that I'm making with the Natural Born Coaches podcast starting next week ...

I recorded a short solo show to talk about them today (http://www.naturalborncoaches.com/podcasts/episode-417-the-times-they-are-a-changin/), but here's the nuts and bolts:

-> the release frequency will be going from five days/week to two days/week (every Monday and Wednesday).

-> every episode will feature a valuable free resource that you can download to help you grow your coaching business.

Why the change?

Well I've been working with my own coach on how I can keep growing and take my own coaching business to the next level.  He (correctly) pinpointed that I've been like a hamster on a hamster wheel for the last few years, which isn't serving me or you.

I've been having fun, but I've also felt myself creeping closer to burnout (and that book that I want to write for coaches has been collecting virtual dust!)

After 417 episodes of the podcast, I can scale it back to two shows per week and still achieve what I want to achieve with the show.

The other thing that you'll notice is a greater emphasis on various themes and strategies in each interview.  We'll still touch on the coach's backstory, but less time will be spent on that and more time will be spent on what we can learn from that coach.

So for example, Zach Spuckler will be on the show next Wednesday and he'll share with us how he's killing it using Periscope (you'll want to listen to that one!).  We're spending 30 minutes digging deep into Periscope with actionable advice that you can use.

The lesson that I'm always reminded of in business is that you have to continually tweak, evolve and improve!

See you next week,

Marc
