I've had a lot
of "ah-ha" moments asking the question:
"What's your biggest regret?"
After almost 500 interviews on Natural Born Coaches, and a ton of conversations off-air, I've heard some pretty interesting answers.
This week, I recorded an interview with Craig Ballantyne, the co-owner of the super-popular website "Early To Rise" (it's airing on September 26th, and it'll have a ton of
gold nuggets in it).
Craig's biggest regret?
Not hiring his first business coach sooner!
That answer floored me. Craig hired his first coach way back in 2006, so I think he was pretty early to the party. And he's a super-achiever who has accomplished so much for someone his age. But he confessed that he would be even further along had he hired a coach three years
earlier.
As they say, "hindsight is 20/20", and it's always easier to play Monday Morning Quarterback with these things.
Unfortunately, we can't turn back time like Superman did in Superman: The Movie, when he spun the world around backwards to save Lois Lane's life (I'm still trying to figure out how that worked.)
But we can make moves today to ensure that we have as few regrets as possible in
the future.
-Live for today
-Don't worry about what other people think
-Appreciate your loved ones
-Take time for the simple things
-Chase your dreams ...
AND hire a business coach. The right one isn't an expense, it's an investment.
Just ask Craig Ballantyne.
If you're looking for help with your coaching
business, I want to be your business coach. Let's book a time to chat ... there's no-obligation, and if I'm not the right fit for you odds are I know a coach who is:
Cheers,
