There's a reason why Starbucks is #1

I recently read that during the Great Recession of 2008, Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz did something that very few leaders did ...

He decided to travel all over the country to talk with his customers.

Here's a guy with a net worth of almost $3 Billion, who is set for life regardless of what happens to the economy, but who hit the road for late night meetings with people who were buying $5 cups of coffee.

The result?

Starbucks didn't just ride the recession out - it actually grew during that time.

It ended up in that position because its leader was willing to go that extra mile.

I try to keep stories like this in mind as I build my business.

Any time I slack off, I think of people like Howard Schultz, and I push myself to go a little further. That's how successful businesses are grown.

Those are the types of coaches that I work with as my clients, too.

I don't want to work with people who half-ass things, who complain about "being tired", and are eagerly searching for a four-hour workweek.

If you fit the Howard Schultz mold, we should chat. You can book something here:

P.S. I don't drink coffee. I've had about 1/4 of a cup in my whole life. Is that weird? Some think so ...
