On Monday morning, I
started listening to Grant Cardone's The 10X Rule again.
There are few better books to listen to on a Monday morning, when a lot of people out there have the "Monday Morning Blues".
Every time I listen to it I get something from it, but something stood out this week because I've been seeing it a lot in the coaching world:
Playing the victim game ...
Having a "woe is me"
mentality ...
Blaming others, or the marketplace, for your challenges ...
It's a dangerous game to play.
You give up power, and start to buy into the idea that things are out of your control.
It's just not true:
You're responsible for your results. If you don't like where you're at, you can change that.
Don't worry
about competitors, the marketplace, or anything else.
Only worry about YOU.
