Here's how I can tell who will be successful

I'm helping someone launch her business, and I've seen how she operates in that time.

I told her the other day that I have no doubt that she will be successful.

"How do you know?" she asked me.

I gave her my answer, and I'm going to share with you my top secret, super-duper method for determining if someone will be successful (don't you feel special?!)

I told her that she'll be successful because she's on the ball

What exactly does, "on the ball" mean?

OTB is when someone does what she says she'll do.  She meets deadlines. She shows up on time for scheduled appointments. She returns messages from potential clients. She doesn't "flake out".

My client fits this to a tee.

Contrast that with other coaches that I see. I've seen plenty who:

- don't show up for scheduled calls, and after sitting on Skype waiting for them, you finally hear back with a lame, half-hearted excuse like "oh, I'm sorry [insert lame excuse, when in reality they forgot to book the call in their calendar]")

- make a half-hearted attempt to promote their businesses (note: a few posts a week on social media won't cut it)

- don't have their radars up for opportunities. They miss obvious things they should be jumping on ASAP.

- blow off paid clients (I've heard stories of one coach who rescheduled her first five sessions with a new client. When the person told me about this, I was amazed at her patience for waiting so long to fire her).

Look, not everyone should be a coach, or an entrepreneur. Let's face it, some people are better suited to have someone telling them what to do, and an office job with someone managing them is probably a better fit.

If you're not OTB in coaching, you're going to sink. People don't want to work with someone they don't trust to get the job done.

If you're someone who is "on the ball" and looking to grow your coaching business, you're the type of person that I want to work with. Check this out:
