Your business is a guinea pig

Published: Mon, 11/07/16

It's Monday morning, and I'm ready to power my way through the week (I don't mind Mondays, actually)

Today, I want to chat with you about experimentation and course-correction in your business ...

I don't know about you, but my business looks very different from what I thought it would be when I first launched it.

Sure, some things are the same. But I've done a lot of tweaking over the years with things like who I want to work with, how I schedule my days, my pricing, etc.

The best entrepreneurs that I know aren't afraid to change things up as required.

My brother has a booming podcast editing business, and he's been testing and tweaking things since he launched it last summer.

He's hired a few editors that he trusts, and it's cool to see the changes that he's making and the positive affects that it's had on his business.

I'm encouraging the coaches that I work with to treat their businesses like guinea pigs - to constantly tweak and change things as required.

If your business looks the same now as it did one year ago, odds are you're due to change things up.

What's the worst that can happen?  If something doesn't work out, you can correct it.

But you could be pleasantly surprised by what happens with every modification.

If you want to change things with your coaching business, here's where you'll get me:

Happy Monday,

Marc
