It's not all sunshine,
lollipops, and roses for successful people.
I'm seeing a trend where successful people are being attacked for being ... successful.
I know this has probably happened throughout history - you just didn't hear about it as much since there was no social media (plus people could get their heads chopped off for insulting Kings and higher-ups)
Once someone becomes successful in the online world, the haters and
trolls pop out of the woodwork to spew their nasty words.
Suddenly the people who are doing well are regarded with suspicion, a feeling of "well if he/she is doing well it's because they screwed someone!"
In politics, if you've done well and have made a lot of money then odds are that it will handicap you as a candidate. You'll be branded as "out of touch", rich, greedy, and attacked for your
success.
I posted this little diddy on Facebook on Friday about the trend:
If you're getting attacked, take heart in knowing that it means you're probably doing something right,
