Just get that lead magnet done!

It's important to have a good lead magnet (free resource) to connect with your potential clients.

But I'm seeing a lot of coaches struggling with this.

They don't know what to put out there.

They fret about it, procrastinate, and take many weeks (and even months, for some) to come up with their lead magnet.

In the meantime, they're losing out on business and becoming increasingly frustrated with the whole thing.

My advice?

Don't overthink your lead magnet (especially your first one).

My first one wasn't anything to write home about ...

It was something like The Five Books That Every Entrepreneur Should Read (a one page PDF with five books and a brief synopsis of each). And the books were pretty common ones, like Think and Grow Rich and How To Win Friends and Influence People, which are great books - but nothing mind-blowing to put into a lead magnet.

But I got the thing done, and pushed it out into the world.

And people started requesting it. That crappy lead magnet got my business started.

"Done" is better than "perfect".

A few months after my first lead magnet,  I created a new one, and now I mix them up pretty regularly. My current one is my 35 page ebook, The Real ABCs of a Successful Coaching Business, but I didn't start with that.

Since so many coaches are hung up on what to do for a lead magnet, I included a module on creating lead magnets in my Your First 5 Clients program. I even included a number of samples from real life coaches, to get your creative juices flowing.

The good news is the program is $100 less than usual with the holiday discount that goes until Christmas Eve. To get yours, go to www.YourFirst5Clients.com and enter the coupon code "holidaydiscount" at the checkout,
