Are you my Elvis?

I'm a big Elvis fan.

One of my favourite Elvis stories is how he was discovered by Sam Phillips, the founder of Sun Records.

Back in 1954, Elvis strolled into Phillips' studio in Memphis to record some songs for his mother's birthday.

He wasn't "The King of Rock and Rock" yet - in fact, he wasn't much of anything.  He had a funny name and hairdo, he sang strange. and had little confidence.

But Phillips saw something in him, gave him a chance and helped launch The King's career (he also helped get others musical greats onto the road to stardom, like Jerry Lee Lewis and Johnny Cash).

The Elvis/Phillips story resonates with me because I see myself as the Sam Phillips of the coaching world ...

I take coaches who are currently unknown, but who have the talent and desire to do something big.

And I help get them rolling.

So far I've had the chance to work with coaches who are doing a lot of good in the world - and being paid well for the impact that they're making.

It's a rush for me: every coach that I work with has the potential to become big.  They could help thousands or even millions of people over the course of their business lives.

They can become the Elvis of coaching.

If you know that you're destined for bigger things than you're currently doing as a coach, I've opened up some slots this week to connect and talk about where you want to go with it.
