How's this for a wall, President Trump?

I posted this in The Coaching Jungle Facebook group last night, and wanted to share since I suspect that you may be struggling from "priority overload":

==========

I'm working hard in 2017 to stay focused on just a few priorities.

In the past, I could have had upwards of 20 "priorities: at any given time.

Unfortunately, as the great Jim Collins said: "If you have more than three priorities, you don't have any"!

Right now I have my "Big Three" - three main projects/priorities that won't get bumped for anything.

Nothing can intrude on those three, I've built a castle with an impenetrable wall, moat and drawbridge. Intruders will face a fiery stream of arrows raining down upon them should they try to enter.

When I complete one of my priorities, I shift something else in its place.  But they always stay in a 1-2-3 order. #1 has the most importance, and the other two are behind it until it's completed.

I've said "no" to some of you recently.  It's not me trying to be a jerk, I've just come to the realization that I can't do it all and not burn out (forgive me, I hope you say "no" more often than you say "yes" too!)

Maybe your magic number is one priority - one of my favourite books is The One Thing, which suggests just one.  Maybe your magic number is two, or three like me ...

Whatever it may be, don't cram your mind with tons of things that you want to do.  If you have 20 of them, you will only give about 5% for each and you'll be left frustrated and dejected.

Take out your clippers this weekend and trim those priorities!

Here's my #1 priority at the moment (time is ticking away to get it at the Early Bird rate):
