Paid traffic is for losers

I almost fell out of my seat when I heard this said to me.

I was recently interviewing Vin Clancy for the upcoming Facebook groups program that I'm launching when he blurted out:

"Paid traffic is for losers"

(He's a pretty blunt guy)

Now let's put it into context.

Vin wasn't talking about all paid traffic ...

He was answering a question about people who only use paid traffic to grow their FB groups, instead of things like engagement, word of mouth, and providing all-around awesome value.

(The "Get Rich Quick" crowd is too impatient for those types of things. Why do that when you can buy ads, rinse-and-repeat, right???)

Regarding his comment (in that content), I agree with Vin 100%.

Last week I was talking with another successful group owner who has about 5000 members in his group, and he admitted to me that he spent a lot of money on ads to get a measly 9 new members into his group.

He probably paid $30 or more to get each member.  Not a great bargain!

I've never spent a penny on paid advertising to drive people to my Facebook group, The Coaching Jungle.

I did it the old fashioned way.  I built a community of like-minded people (coaches who wanted to grow their businesses) and worked to make it the best group that I could.

I was prepared to be patient to grow it organically.  I wasn't expecting thousands of people to join on day one.

But I was pleasantly surprised when we grew to close to 5000 in a year.

If you want to learn how to grow your Facebook group without spending bushels of money on paid advertising, I'll be sharing how I did it in a live training today at 12 pm EST.  You can save your spot here:

If you can't make it at 12 pm EST, still register. A replay will be sent to everyone who does,
