Everyone is selling something

I wrote a post that struck a chord with my Facebook people the other day.

Here it is:

===

"Newsflash: nothing is "free" on Facebook.

"Free" webinars, PDFs, eBooks, videos, challenges, podcasts, etc.

None of it is really "free".

Everyone is offering stuff in the hope of getting something (a client, a customer, some business) back in return.

And that's ok.  You're allowed to be compensated when you're in business, especially if you're providing value.

I don't mean to sound cynical, just saying what everyone knows/should know by now.

I'm pointing out what most coaches are afraid to admit:

Everyone is selling something (or should be, if they hope to stay in business).

I'm selling something.

The other email lists that you're subscribed to are selling something, even if they try their hardest to make it look like they aren't.

You have to sell to help.

You have to charge to keep your doors open, and to ensure that your client/customer is invested in the process. Having no "skin in the game" leads to weak commitment.

So be proud of what you sell ... scream it from the rooftops!

I'm proud to be selling membership into my Secret Coach Club. It isn't free, but it will help your coaching business:
