Building the McDonald's of coaching???

My better half and I are going to watch The Founder on-demand tonight, and we're both pretty excited about it.

It's about Ray Kroc, who turned McDonald's into the most successful fast food chain ever and the world' s second largest private employer (behind Walmart).

A movie about an entrepreneur who did this is pretty inspiring. What can I say? I have a soft spot for big thinkers.

I was recently chatting with a coach who's a Secret Coach Club subscriber. He told me that he has a dream of inspiring one million people around the world.

When he first told me this, I could tell that he was a little sheepish. One million is a big number, after all.

But I told him to embrace that big number. I'd rather see someone shoot for the stars than set a tiny little goal that doesn't make any dent in the universe.

Let's say he inspires 800,000 people - that's still pretty good.  Or he knocks it out of the park and becomes the McDonald's of the coaching world (Tony Robbins is the closest comparison that I can come up with).

You have to shoot high to hit big goals. Do you think the Ray Krocs, Elon Musks or Steve Jobs of the world had realistic goals?

I don't want small thinkers in Secret Coach Club.  If someone is looking to work with just a handful of clients, or make an extra 500 bucks a month with coaching, then they aren't the right fit. They'll do better Googling to find free resources to help them out.

But if they have big goals like my one million person Secret Coach Clubber, then I want to help them.

If you're a big thinker, you'll fit right in with Secret Coach Club. The May issue goes to print tomorrow night, and then it's gone.  Secure yours here:

I'm off to microwave some popcorn for the flick,
