The power of the pinned post

Published: Wed, 06/28/17

There's an important piece of real estate at the top of every Facebook group called the "pinned post".

It's a post that stays permanently at the top of the group wall, but surprisingly a lot of them don't have one.

And those that do are usually missing its full potential.

I'm a believer that you should use your pinned post for a strong Call-To-Action (for one of your offerings) and NOT for a soft welcome message.

I suspected that most of the pinned posts in groups don't have a good CTA, so I did some informal research earlier today.  I put on my detective coat and hat and popped into 10 random groups that I'm a member of ...

Of those groups, only two had a pinned post promoting the owner's offerings!

Eight of them had a soft welcome message, or a reminder of the group rules (the group rules are already on the right hand side of the group - you shouldn't waste a pinned post on them).

A handful of the groups did send people to a blog post, or a podcast interview, but I wouldn't consider those "strong" calls to action.

If you aren't utilizing the pinned post in your group properly, you could be losing out on tens of thousands of dollars (or more) every year!

This is such an important topic that I included training on how to properly do pinned posts in module one of my Group Gold Program.

And I included lots of other ways to bring money in from your group as well.  This program has everything you need to dominate with your Facebook group.

Because it's my birthday week, you can get it at a 50% discount until Sunday night at midnight (EST).  That makes it just $148 (and 50 cents). Don't miss out:
