We were having a conversation in The Coaching Jungle recently when the subject of strange niches came
up.
I asked the group to name the strangest coaching niches that they've come across, and one answer took the cake:
Apparently there's an ex-stripper who became a multi six-figure coach teaching strippers how to change their mindset!
Now I've heard of unique niches before ...
We have a gardening coach in the Facebook group, and a friend of mine specializes in helping his
clients compete for government contracts (his name is Kevin Jans, and he has a great podcast called Contracting Office Podcast).
But a former stripper teaching mindset to strippers? That's something that I've never come across in all of my travels.
Kudos to her - I think this stripper coach is on to something. As the coaching industry grows, evolves, and becomes more crowded, the need to niche down and be unique becomes
greater. She's narrowed down and done well from it, apparently.
Besides niching down, the stripper coach did another smart thing - she drew from her experience and crafted a coaching business around it (stick to what you know).
While I can't say that I have any coaches in the stripper niche in Secret Coach Club, there are some unique ones.
One that comes to mind is Jeffrey, a product licensing coach
who helps people get their product ideas to market. Not many coaches do that, but he's doing well (yesterday he messaged to tell me that he got three new clients on the same day).
Regardless of what niche you're in, SCC can help you get more clients too:
