If you run a Facebook group, you obviously want people to be actively involved in
it.
You don't want it to be just you shouting out into the wind, or tumbleweeds blowing across the place.
Groups that have no (or little) engagement usually don't last too long.
One way to get good engagement is to know your members well, and tag them into relevant posts or comments.
For example:
Whenever someone asks a question about
webinars in my Facebook group, I tag webinar expert Jon Schumacher into my reply.
Whenever someone brings up a website or Wordpress question, I tag my web guy Tim Melanson into my response.
If they mention book editing, I tag Chris Jones.
For speaking, I tag Davide Di Giorgio and Corey Poirier ...
You get the idea.
Obviously you have to
get these people into your groups to be able to do this. And then you have to know who excels at what, so you can involve them in the appropriate conversations.
