If I had to choose the #1 reason why coaches fail, I'd say that it's the fear of what others
think.
This fear leads to them watering down their message, sharing that message less frequently, and not doing anything that would make it look like they're selling or actually running a business for profit.

Extraordinary people don't care what others think of them. They do well in getting what they want
because they are unencumbered by others' opinions ...
Success requires the courage to risk disapproval. Most independent thought, new ideas, or endeavors beyond the common measure are greeted with disapproval, ranging from skepticism and ridicule to violent outrage. To persevere in anything exceptional requires inner strength and the unshakeable conviction that you are right.

I saw the benefits of this
approach first-hand when I did a week-long sale for my Group Gold program back in late June. Before I did it, I told myself that I was going to promote it hard, and not worry about those who said that I was over-doing it.
I pushed that sale harder than I have any before it. All week, I promoted it like my life depended on it. On the final day alone, I sent out six emails to my list, and posted 14 times on Facebook (seven times on my personal FB, seven times in my
group). This was in addition to what I was doing on Twitter and LinkedIn to get the word out.
There was a little voice in my head trying to tell me to not promote it so heavily - to pull back so I wouldn't offend others. But I pushed ahead, and I had a very successful sale (I sold almost 5x my goal for the promotion, without any paid ads or affiliates).
Odds are you're holding back somewhere in your business because you're afraid of
what others will think.
I love the saying; "So you have an opinion about my life? Which of my bills will you be paying this month?"
One of the other things that I've been pushing hard lately is my 10 Clients In 90 Days group program. I've got a group starting this month, and we're down to just one remaining spot (two sold yesterday).
