While I was being interviewed last night, I was asked by the podcast host to give my #1 piece of advice for
aspiring coaches.
That's always a tough question to answer, because I think there's lots of advice to give, but I told him this:
Ready. Fire. Aim.
You can't be a perfectionist or ditherer in this business. You have to leap into action, without fear of making mistakes.
You don't need to do a year of market research.
You don't
need to work for three months on your logo.
You don't need to spend countless hours tinkering with your website.
You just need to ACT.
I view business like a battlefield. You can't hide away in a bunker - the juicy rewards are out on the battlefield. Sure, you'll get beat around some, but hiding won't get you anything.
I didn't make up that clever "Ready. Fire. Aim" saying,
there's actually a great book by Michael Masterson with the same title that I highly recommend ...
But if I had to give you just one piece of advice, that'd be it.
Lucky for you, my 10 Clients in 90 Days group program is designed to push you into action.
If you've been feeling stuck, it'll help you get out there making moves in the marketplace.
The next group
starts in September, you can join the action here:
