Why do footballs slip out of quarterbacks' hands?

Back in the early days of my coaching business, I joined a group program.

I entered with high hopes.  It sounded great, and I was even willing to stay up late for the calls since they went until past midnight for me.

Like a kid heading off to the first day of school, I eagerly joined the first call early with my notebook and pen in hand, ready to roll.

I was sorely disappointed.

The group had about 10 people in it (phone call, no video), and there was no structure. The coaches in it were definitely more woo woo than I am, and there wasn't anything concrete given during the calls ... just fluff.

The calls were spent talking about the universe and vibrations, mixed in with idle chit chat back and forth.

The person leading it assigned a couple of books to read for homework every week before the next call (I love reading and I'm a fast reader, but I can't plow through three 500 page books every week).

The straw that broke the camel's back was the call that we did immediately after that year's Super Bowl, where everyone spent an hour talking about how the people of Denver hurt their team in the big game by shooting negative vibes up into the air.  They were convinced their quarterback, Peyton Manning, kept dropping the ball because of law of attraction stuff.

(My response: "Maybe it was because it was outdoors in February?")

That group didn't work out for me, and I've done some other dud programs along my journey.  But I don't lose any sleep over the bad ones, because I learned a very valuable lesson from each of them: what NOT to do with my group programs.

I remember how it felt for me to be sitting on calls that offered zero value and felt like a waste of my time, and it strengthens my resolve to deliver the most value that I can during my group sessions.

My groups are all about giving actionable advice to get more coaching clients, and giving my coaches accountability to make sure it happens.

No woo woo, no fluff, no deep debates about why footballs are slipping out of quarterbacks' hands.

There's just one focus:

10 new clients in 90 days.

If this sounds like something for you, my next group starts up soon.  Another spot was just spoken for, so we now have just two remaining:
