It's a common myth that coaches spend most of their time coaching.
New ones think
they'll be spending 80% of their time coaching, and the remaining 20% of their time doing other stuff like finding clients, sending invoices, and filling out a bit of paperwork.
The truth is much different.
You'll be spending 80% of your time finding clients, and you're lucky if you come close to 20% of your time actually coaching.
Those who don't grasp this are hit with a rude awakening when they get
started.
Coaches who come from backgrounds where they've never had to sell before can have a tough time. People who were teachers, nurses, in human resources ... they all have great skills that are assets in coaching (they're empathetic, hard workers, etc), but they've never had to sell before.
You've got to sell to help others in this business.
If you can't sell, you can't
coach.
You're going to have to spend the majority of your time doing it, so you better learn how.
If you need help selling your coaching, I can help.
My 10 Clients In 90 Days group program will show you how you can sell your coaching, so you aren't stressed about where you'll find your next client.
The next group opens up in about two weeks, and there are still a
few spots remaining.
