It seems like every coach wants to "make money while they sleep" by selling
online programs.
While visions of sugar plums dance in their heads, their bank accounts will cha-ching with payment after payment rolling in.
I'm not going to knock online programs, I have four out there currently and I do well with them.
But I heard a saying once that stuck with me: "Before you can make money while you sleep, you have to be able to make money while you're
awake".
Your faster path to revenue is usually with 1:1 and group clients, and then you can add online programs to your offerings (the more clients you work with, the better those online programs will be too, since you'll have more experience to draw from).
That's how I built my business back in 2014. I filled up my 1:1 and group slots, and then started selling online programs. And that approach seems to work well for a lot of other
coaches too.
What I hate seeing is coaches spending months creating an online program that they think people will buy, and then hearing nothing but crickets. That's a lot of wasted time and energy that could have gone into working with living, breathing people who are paying good money for coaching.
I'm all for online programs, but if you're a new coach just out of the gate that's probably not the best
approach.
I've actually discovered a hybrid method for online programs - a way to get a quick one created in just two hours and then out into the world to generate leads (this approach has you using short online programs to get leads who will buy your coaching).
I've used this approach personally and I can tell you that it works.
If you'd like to learn this little secret, I walk you through it on
pages 10,11,12 and 13 of the April Secret Coach Club newsletter.
This one method can be a game changer for your business, but the deadline to get it is this Saturday at midnight EST.
