Have you ever bought something, like a car, and then started seeing it pop up
all over the place?
I've heard of this before, and there's a name for it:
"Baader-Meinhof Phenomenon".
According to Wikipedia, it's:
"The illusion in which a word, a name, or other thing that has recently come to one's attention suddenly seems to appear with improbable frequency shortly afterwards".
It happens because your radar is finally up to
notice whatever the thing is.
Your brain is making the connection. So if you just bought a brand new red Honda Civic, you're going to notice every one of those that passes you.
This once happened to me when I rented a Jeep for a week. Suddenly I was amazed by the number of Jeeps that I saw in my city - I never knew there were that many here (it didn't help that the Jeep owners here are like a cult, and they wave every single time they
pass another Jeep ... I got a hand cramp from waving by the end of the week).
Now does that mean there was a sudden influx in sales of Jeeps in the week that I was driving one?
Of course not - but my radar was up and looking for them.
The same thing happens with content creation. The more content you create, the more your creative juices get flowing with other ideas.
Since I
started my Secret Coach Club print newsletter in March of last year, my content creation has been through the roof. I'm picking up ideas all over the place, and despite every issue being 4,000 to 5,000 words, I usually can't fit everything that I want into them.
The cool thing is I can share excess thoughts and ideas in emails and around social media, so that's a plus.
Having your own print newsletter will throw gasoline on your
content creation fire, and you'll start creating more than you ever did before.
If you'd like to introduce a print newsletter to your offerings, the May issue of Secret Coach Club will show you exactly how to do it.
I'll walk you through how to set up, print, and sell your own one.
The deadline to get it is tomorrow at 11:59 pm EST. Grab yours here:
