I tend to see a lot of coaches making offers on Fridays, since that's the day of
the week that we do our "Promotion Friday" thread in my Facebook group.
That thread gets hundreds of comments, and I love seeing the activity - it shows that there are coaches who aren't afraid to sell.
In my experience, a fear of selling is one of the top killers of coaching businesses.
Without selling your services, it's awful hard to make money. And in the words of Zig
Ziglar:
"Money isn't the most important thing in life, but it's reasonably close to oxygen on the 'gotta have it' scale"
In the final few days of every month, just before my Secret Coach Club newsletter goes to the printer, I sell it like crazy.
I'm sure it annoys some people, but it also brings a lot of new subscribers on board - and that's the name of the game (if people don't subscribe, I can't help
them).
In my experience, people who are upset at selling usually get triggered because they aren't getting as many sales as they'd like to be.
I follow a number of big guns in different areas of the online world, and I've noticed that they're aggressive with their selling as well. I don't get offended by this - I soak in what they're talking about and learn what I can from them.
If you'd like
help selling your offers, check out Secret Coach Club. Every month focuses on things you have to do to bring more clients and customers into your coaching business.
The July issue goes to the printer in about a week, and then it's gone:
