Back in early April, I decided to launch an Alexa flash briefing called
The Marc Mawhinney Minute.
I had some reservations, since I already had a lot on my plate, but I made the leap and I haven't regretted it.
Here are five reasons why I think every coach (and online entrepreneur) should consider having their own flash briefing:
1) They're quick and easy for people to listen to: everyone is busy nowadays, so they may not have time to listen to a 30
or 60 minute podcast. Flash briefings are only a minute each, and I've had a lot of people tell me they listen to mine daily (and others who fly through listening to a month's worth of shows in one sitting).
2) They're quick and easy to record and upload (if you do it the right way): I've worked out a good system for doing mine, and it takes considerably less time to do than my podcasts.
3) It gives you daily content to stay in front of your
marketplace: every single day my message is being exposed to everyone who subscribes to my show with their Alexa. So while they're washing the dishes or cleaning the kitchen, I'm keeping them company. I also have my show on iTunes and I share every episode around on social media, which really cranks up the number of downloads ...
4) It gives you new clients and customers (again, if you do it the right way): the ROI on flash briefings is impressive, as long as you
have a compelling call-to-action for your listeners.
5) They're fun, and business should be fun.
Since I'm such a fan of Alexa flash briefings, I'm dedicating a lot of space in the August issue of Secret Coach Club to show you exactly how to do them for maximum results.
I'm even including screenshots so you can "look over my shoulder" like we're meeting in-person to get yours
going.
If you want help starting your own flash briefing, the issue goes to print tomorrow at midnight (EST).
