A few years back, an entrepreneur who owns a publishing company called
Fetopolis decided to go big on Facebook ads.
He ran some tests, and determined that he could get a 2x to 3x return on his FB ad spend.
So over the course of four days, he took the plunge and spent over $600,000 on ads.
Going by his math, he should have gotten $1.2 million to $1.8 million in new revenue from those ads.
The result?
Close to zero
dollars.
This story shows what happens when you try to figure out Facebook ads by yourself.
I had a call with a coach a few months back that spent $5,000 on Facebook ads the previous month, and didn't get a single client from it.
That's not as bad a $600,000, but 5k to a small business hurts.
I'm not a Facebook ads expert (I focus on generating sales organically), but I know
a great one.
His name is Danny Young, and he's an expert on this stuff. He keeps up with all the changes Facebook makes with its advertising, and he's helped a lot of people with theirs.
I asked Danny to do a live training for my people around Facebook ads, and it's happening tomorrow.
