The words that you use matter.
Words
persuade, and can mean the difference between making the sale or not.
Yet most coaches and entrepreneurs give little thought to their choice of words.
You ignore them at your own peril ...
The interesting thing is the right words aren't necessarily the longest or most complex.
It's actually the opposite!
Steve Jobs used to express complex ideas
using simple words that were at a grade three level (other leaders like Elon Musk and Richard Branson do the same).
Successful politicians also use simple words to communicate their ideas. During the last presidential election cycle, Donald Trump's speeches were graded at a grade five level, while the competitors that he beat (like Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio in the primaries, and Hillary Clinton in the general election) were ranked at a much higher level.
Love him or hate him, he's President and they're not.
In the summer, I came across a study showing the most persuasive words in the English language. I decided to put that list to the test, and inject more of those words into my sales copy. I've been getting better engagement and sales since doing that, and I don't think that's an accident.
In the September issue of my Secret Coach Club hard copy newsletter I talk more
about word usage and how you can use it to get more coaching clients and customers.
I'll share the magic list, and specific examples showing persuasive words in action.
The deadline to get your copy is Friday night at midnight EST.
