One of my favourites audiobooks that I keep on my iPhone is
Mindset by Carol Dweck.
In it, Dweck talks about the difference between a "fixed mindset" and a "growth mindset".
People with a fixed mindset believe that you're born with a certain skill level and you can't learn or grow.
Growth mindset is the opposite.
Those with a fixed mindset rarely try anything new, since they don't want to be challenged.
A growth mindset embraces challenges.
I'd hope that all coaches fall in the growth mindset category, or they should probably go do something else.
But if you're pushing to transition to a growth mindset, one of the best ways to get it is to be around others with that way of thinking.
It's hard to stay trapped with limiting beliefs when you're exposed to other ways of
thinking.
In my 10 Clients In 90 Days group program, I push coaches to challenge their limits.
If they think they should charge $1500 for their coaching package, why not double it? Or triple it?
Sure, it's scary to make that kind of jump. But it's a lot easier when you have people nearby challenging you and cheering you on.
I'm filling my next
group at the moment, and I'm looking for coaches who have a growth mindset (or want to develop one).
We'll work together for 12 weeks to get you 10 new coaching clients for your business.
