Weezer just released a surprise album of cover songs.
I like it.
What's not to love about Weezer doing "Africa" and "Take On Me"?
(Although I can't get my head wrapped around their version of TLC's "No Scrubs" - that one seems out of place on there ...)
Although covering other bands' material can work in the music world, it's doesn't really work for online entrepreneurs.
For example, I sometimes get coaches asking if my Secret Coach Club newsletter has things that be copied and pasted on their social media or blogs.
I don't recommend just copying and pasting.
Why not?
Because your content will work better if it's in your own voice.
If I chose someone I followed and started talking exactly like them, it would come across as strange.
Besides that, the copying and pasting method is just plain lazy.
I say use the examples included inside SCC as a template, or inspiration, but to use your own words when creating content.
I'm currently celebrating the two-year anniversary of Secret Coach Club by selling a bundle of all 24 issues together in one place.
The bundle sale is happening until Thursday at midnight (EST), and then it's done.
