A year or so before I started using VAs and freelancers, I was scared off
from doing it by another coach.
I was having a Skype conversation with him and the subject turned to hiring freelancers.
I clearly remember his words:
"Don't do it, it'll end up being more work for you"
He went on to detail his experiences with a merry-go-round of bad virtual help he'd gotten over the years, and what a hassle each one became.
With every freelancer, he had to roll up his sleeves and take back the duties that he had given them, and clean up the mess that they made.
He finally got so frustrated that he swore off hiring any freelancers, and convinced himself that it was easier to just do everything himself.
While I can understand his frustration, I disagree with his belief around delegating.
In fact, it's a little crazy to suggest that it's less work doing everything yourself (he reminds me of the "Flat Earthers" who swear that the Earth isn't round).
He wouldn't entertain such crazy thoughts if he watched the live training that Nathan Hirsch is doing tomorrow.
Nathan is going to show the right way to hire freelancers, so you won't feel like swearing off them for good.
He's a pro at this stuff, and you can soak in his wisdom by registering here:
