One of my new clients has a brain picking dilemma.
Someone has been asking her for advice often, and it's gotten out of hard - so she asked me how she should handle it.
I know her predicament.
Coaches naturally want to help people, and it's hard to turn away those who want help.
But if you don't set clear boundaries around your time and your energy then you're hurting your business (and your paying clients, by extension).
So what's a coach to do?
You can direct them to any of your free resources that answer their question - like a podcast interview, a video, blog post, or to your online community.
If they need to book a call, you can direct them to your PayPal link to pay for your time.
Some will recoil in horror that you have the nerve to charge for your time, but others won't.
Either way it's win/win. You save your valuable time, or you get a new client that you won't resent helping.
I handle this stuff by only allowing my brain to be picked by my clients and subscribers to my Secret Coach Club newsletter.
If they're stuck on something, they can fire off a message and get my help.
To have me in your corner, the deadline to get in is this Thursday at midnight EST:
