Who doesn’t love acronyms?
You can save a precious second or so with each use (which adds up to minutes every year!) and sound cool while saying them.
Here are some of
my favourite acronyms in the coaching/online space:
-> FOMO (“Fear Of Missing Out”): although I’m not a fan of false urgency and severe arm-twisting tactics, deadlines do help with sales. FOMO is a powerful motivator …
-> KLT
(“Know, Like, Trust”): consistently show up in your community and give value/share your expertise. This gives the opportunity for people to KLT you (and open their wallets to hire/buy from you)
As far as I know, I coined the following ones:
-> OTB (“On The Ball”): this means doing the things that you committed to like showing up to appointments at the agreed upon time (It should be common sense, but I’ve come across a lot of coaches who can’t manage their calendars and miss scheduled appointments).
-> ABO (“Always Be Offering”): You should be consistently inviting
prospects to take the next step with you. It doesn’t matter how good your content is, if you aren’t making these invitations you’re leaving a lot of money on the table.
While it's not an acronym, "Adventure Coaching" is a phrase you don't hear often.
That's too bad, because it's a unique coaching niche with offers that can add a lot of additional revenue to your bottom line.
