I once read a blog post (written by the folks at Instant Teleseminar) that argued that Facebook groups are a “terrible” idea for online
entrepreneurs.
For the record, I strongly disagree with their stance.
Their reasoning is that you shouldn’t group your clients into one place on Facebook, since it makes it easier for competitors to pick them off.
Also, they say it makes all entrepreneurs look the same, since a lot of us are using groups nowadays.
There’s a reason why Facebook groups are so popular …
Because they work.
Most of my clients and customers are people who got to know me because they were first in my Facebook group, The Coaching Jungle.
In my experience, those who run down Facebook groups are people who:
A) have never had a Facebook group, or
B) started a Facebook group but didn’t get results, and are bitter about that (the same thing goes for email marketing, with people who haven’t gotten results from it declaring “Email is dead!!!”)
If you jump in and start a group with no plan, and don’t have a clear way to monetize your group, then it’s a waste of your time.
But if you’re a man (or woman) with a plan, they can be highly profitable.
I take the guesswork out of how to grow, engage, and monetize a successful Facebook group with my Group Gold Program.
Version 2.0 of Group Gold just went live, and it's on sale for 50% off until midnight (EST) tonight.
