Whenever possible, think in terms of
"collaboration" instead of "competition".
Some of my most successful joint ventures were with people who do something similar to what I do, but I didn't let that scare me away.
There's a big enough pie for everyone out there.
When you see people in your space, look for opportunities that can be win/win.
