Most coaches treat cold emails like
spam.
Delete. Ignore. Block.
I get it - nobody likes strangers flooding their inbox.
But here's what I figured out:
There's gold in those pitches.
When someone cold pitches me, I have a system.
It's gotten
me new business with a simple reply.
.
The key is I'm not typing custom responses.
I've got templates for everything.
Someone wants to be on my podcast? Copy. Paste. Done. (And I mention my JV spots)
A "Virtual coffee chat" request? Copy. Paste. Done. (And I point them to the Coaching Jungle group)
Even the
"Chatty Cathies" who try to build rapport before the pitch - I've got a response that cuts through the BS and gets to the point.
Is every reply going to convert? No ... but the ones that do make this worth it.
I go over my system in the latest episode of Natural Born Coaches:
