It's tempting to try to be "all things to
all people" in the online space.
You start out focusing on one thing, but get hauled into different directions by those darn BSOs (Bright, Shiny Objects).
Experts tell you that you should be doing this, and that you absolutely have to be doing that, and pretty soon you're all over the place.
Whenever I get the urge to branch out into every which direction, I remember Steve Jobs and his return to Apple.
When he came back for his second stint with the company, Apple was a mess. Its product line had swelled to 350 products, and those products weren't very good.
So Jobs brought out the knife and cut 350 mediocre products down to just a handful of really good ones.
He was ruthless about it, ignoring the howls of the naysayers who thought it was a mistake.
And the rest is history ...
I've done a number of joint ventures this year, and my partners have done things that benefit my community of coaches but that I don't offer (and have no plans to start offering).
I've had JV partners who are experts at live events, Facebook ads, CRMs for coaches, podcast production, hiring, etc.
If you have an offering that helps coaches, I have three open spots for new joint venture partners that I'm now filling.
It's first come/first served, and you can see if we're a fit here:
