I do my Mondays differently now than I used to .
In the past, I used to cram a bunch of calls and appointments into the first day of the week. I started the habit back in my real estate days, and it continued when I got into coaching.
It wasn't uncommon for me to have 8 or 10 coaching calls, podcast interviews, etc on my Mondays and to be going non-stop from morning until night.
This started to cause problems:
First, I didn't have a chance to catch my breath, and the rest of the week I resembled a chicken rushing around with his head cut off trying to play catch up on other tasks I couldn't get to like content creation and brainstorming ideas.
But the other thing that bugged me was on Sunday nights I wasn't looking forward to the next day. I'd review my calendar and see no white space for Monday, and it made me feel like I was an employee about to head to an office for a job that I didn't enjoy.
That was frustrating, since I thought the whole point of being an entrepreneur was to not have *that* feeling!
Things changed for me after I interviewed for my podcast two coaches from Hawaii, Kimi and Pua, who did their Mondays differently ...
They told me that they didn't book any calls on Mondays. They didn't play on the beach all day (although who could blame them, being in Hawaii?) and they still moved their business forward but in a much better way.
So I decided to give it a try, and it worked like a charm.
I'll still do the odd call on Mondays, but for the most part it's blocked off for other things and gets my week off to a great start.
About enjoying what you do:
My "Coach Sprint" program is all about building a coaching business that you enjoy, and in 4 weeks of working together you'll notice a big difference in your mood (and sales).
It's opening up this month, and there's still room:
