My son and I like to play video games together from time to time, and one of them is called "Overcooked".
It's a cooperative game where you play as a team in busy restaurants, racing around to put the orders together and get them out to the customers before the time runs out.
Things get pretty hectic as you try to load the various ingredients onto plates and avoid obstacles while multi-tasking (anyone who knows me in real life knows that I'm not much of a cook, and I don't think I have much of a future as a waiter either ...)
If things get bad enough in Overcooked, your kitchen can catch fire and you'll have to sprint over to extinguish it before everything goes up in flames.
It's just a video game, but it reminds me of coaches who try to do everything themselves.
They pride themselves on being a "lone wolf", and feel like they're the best person for every single task that has to be done.
Their home office may not catch on fire like the kitchens in that game, but they're still putting out fire after fire throughout their days.
This hectic cycle could be avoided if they only knew how to properly delegate!
One person who knows all about delegation is Nicole Bandes, the founder of "Virtual A Team". She's had the opportunity to help a lot of coaches and online entrepreneurs over the years simplify their businesses and save their sanity with delegation.
She's going to show how you can do the same in a live training that we're doing next Thursday at 3 pm EST (if you can't make it live, a replay will be sent out to those who register).
