Gone are the days when people look forward to checking their mailbox.
They don't get "real" mail anymore. They get bills, flyers and junk, but nothing really good.
When I was a kid, I used to rush to the mailbox right after I got off the school bus to retrieve one of a few things that could have been waiting for me in there.
One was the Canadian news magazine, Maclean's. I love politics (I was probably the only kid in my junior high school who could name the cabinet minsters in the Canadian federal government). When each new issue arrived, I spent the day reading it from cover to cover.
I also belonged to Columbia House, and it was always cool to get new CDs in the mail.
The same goes for baseball cards that I used to buy and had shipped to me (I remember getting an autographed card from Al Weis, who hit a memorable home run for the New York Mets in game 5 of the 1969 World Series).
Flash forward to today, and I subscribe to several print newsletters ...
They arrive around the same time of every month, and I enjoy seeing them in my mailbox.
These print newsletters have been important to my business growth, so much so that if my house was on fire I'd make sure I rescued them.
Since March 2017 I've been releasing my own monthly print newsletter, Secret Coach Club.
The goal of every issue is to give coaches what they need to get more clients, and to make them so valuable that my subscribers are excited to receive the new copy every month.
The September issue is dedicated to me breaking down a set of 11 rules that I've used to grow my coaching business consistently over the last six years.
Time is ticking away to get that issue as the deadline is Monday at midnight EST.
